Not knowing much about Joe but it sounds like a good sign. Is he more of an inside player ,wich I hope, or a perimeter player? How many more can we sign?
Joe is a very fundamental player that has a very high skill set. Joe is a lefty that loves to score over his left shoulder and is also very good in face up situations. Although he is a good shooter with range out to three he is a banger down low and scores well on the block with a good touch. AP fans will love how hard Harms plays and his work ethic and skill set. He is not a blown away athlete but has good athletic ability. He is a perfect fit for the Govs. Joe has played with my aau team the last two years and play alongside fellow AP committ Will Triggs. Harms becomes the third former Team Rameybasketball AAU player to committ to the Govs in the last 3 years as James Harris is also an alumni of our aau program.
I don’t exactly how many we are going to sign. I believe the NCAA limits men’s basketball to 13 scholarships. Off the top of my head, we have 13 players with 1 walk-on (Jim Ross) and 2 seniors. Assuming everyone comes back who can, that leaves us 3 slots for next season. Unless I am forgetting someone else is a walk on, we will have three schollies open. We have Triggs, Greer, and Harms verbally committed, so that is 13. Unless I am forgetting that someone else is a walkon or we get someone else to walk on, we may be done. I know that we were recruiting other players before Harms committed, so we may not be done.
I understand we now have 1 more to sign
